Kendall Jenner Was Dropped From March 2022 Vogue Cover In Favor Of Her Sister Kim Kardashian: It’s Bittersweet
Hulu’s series The Kardashians recently showcased some sibling rivalry.
In Thursday’s (May 26) episode, it was revealed that runway model Kendall Jenner, 26, of the Kardashian clan was all but promised the cover of Vogue magazine’s March 2022 issue. However, the coveted honor was ultimately given to her elder sister, Kim Kardashian, 44, who was “bittersweet” about the change.
The sisters’ momager, Kris Jenner, detailed how the swap went down. She stated:
“Last week American Vogue did a fantastic, amazing cover try with Kendall and as they were shooting, they called me from set and said, ‘By the way, they want to offer Kendall the cover of the March issue.’ … I was just so excited.”

Then continued:
“I just got a call this morning from Kendall’s agent, and he says, ‘Good news, bad news … I am not sure that Kendall is going to be right for this cover…..[The good news] They asked Kim to do the cover.”
SKIMS owner Kim Kardashian graced the March cover amid her pending divorce from estranged husband Kanye West. After finding out about the offer, she stated:
“I am so excited that I am going to be on the cover of Vogue….I don’t care how many times you could be on the cover; it will never, ever get old.”
She continued:
“I feel so bad….It is bittersweet.”
The mother-of-four then declared she wasn’t going to be the one to tell her little sis she was axed from the spread. Thankfully, Kendall took the moment in stride, stating that if there’s anyone she’s happy to lost the cover to its family. The model said:
“I’m happy for my sister, and she should be really happy….There is not an upset bone in my body, because I think it went to the right person.”
Then continued:
“I would have been extremely honored and beyond excited to get this Vogue cover … But I’m happy to give it up to my sister.”
