Jeannie Mai Says She And Jeezy Couldn’t Wait For Sex After Welcoming Their Daughter: We Did Not Wait That Six Weeks

TV personality Jeannie Mai is keeping it real about her post-birth sex life with husband Jeezy.

The daytime talk show host was recently asked if she followed doctors orders about waiting to have sex after giving birth. Jeannie Mai, 43 and her husband, rap artist Jeezy, 44, welcomed their first child together earlier this year.

While standard recommendations is that new mothers wait at least six weeks to heal before engaging in sexual activity, Jeannie says her and Jeezy couldn’t. Following The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon questioning her about her personal experience, Jeannie responded:

“No….I think we went two….two weeks”

In a hilarious response, the shows other co-host, comedian Loni Love chimes in with a disclaimer, stating:

“Two weeks?! What is happening?!

She continued:

“You know what I am not a doctor and I do not recommend this .”

Jeannie Mai and Jay Wayne “Jeezy” Jenkins wedded back in March of last year. Jeannie, who prior to Jeezy was adamant against having children, welcomed daughter Morocco with her husband in January of this year.

The entertainer previously opened up about her sex life with Jeezy during pregnancy, admitting she and her husband couldn’t get enough. She stated:

“the party is on. It’s back and poppin’. … Everything is good in that department. I love it.”

Then continued:

“One of my favorite positions is actually being on top of J because you see your belly, you see his face [and] he gets to play. Like, he’s playing with your belly or playing with your breasts.”
