DJ Quik’s Son David Blake Jr. Arrested On Suspicion Of First Degree Murder In California, Bail Set At $2 Million
The son of veteran LA rap artist David ‘DJ Quik’ Blake is facing a felony charge.
According to reports, David Blake Jr., 27, is suspected of pulling the trigger that fatally struck 33-year-old Julio Cardoza in the chest, following a fight in Downey, California last Wednesday (May 25th).

Police state they were called to the scene to quell the situation when shots were fired off. David Blake Jr. was later identified as the murder suspect, and subsequently was arrested early Thursday (May 26th) morning. Bail is currently set at $2 million.

Reportedly, the Compton rappers son works as a liaison for city Councilman Isaac Galvan. Reports state that the Councilman ran into trouble of his own back in 2021 after being charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and bribery. However, Isaac Galvan has reportedly maintained his innocence denying all accusations.
Isaac nor DJ Quik have made any public comments about David Blake Jr.’s arrest at this time.
