Bobby Brown Says Whitney Houston Appeared To Him In A Dream & Helped Him Cope W/ Bobbi Kristina’s Failing Health: Let My Baby Go

Whitney Houston led Bobby Brown back to reality when it came to their daughter Bobbi Kristina’s health.

Part two of the A&E project “Biography: Bobby Brown” premiered on Tuesday (May 31). In this episode, Bobby Brown, 53, reflects on helping his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, fight for her life in hopes that she would recover. In 2015, Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically induced coma.

Bobby Brown says:

“Having to watch my daughter fight for her life made me see how precious life is. She fought hard. They told me that she wouldn’t live a normal life. I was prepared to take care of her for the rest of her life being a vegetable, but my daughter wouldn’t want to live like that. She wouldn’t want to be like that.”

Bobbi Kristina was the only daughter of Grammy-award winner Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. The ex-couple divorced in 2007 and Whitney Houston received full custody of Bobbi Kristina. Whitney passed away in 2012, from an accidental drowning from reported heart disease and cocaine use, which led Bobby and Bobbi Kristina to make their relationship stronger.

According to Bobby Brown, his ex-wife Houston once visited him in a dream and helped him deal better with their daughter’s failing health. Bobby explains:

“Whitney came to me in dreams and was like, ‘let my baby go. Let my baby go.’ And that’s what I had to do.”

In June 2015, Bobbi Kristina was taken off the medications aiding her survival. She passed away on June 26, 2015, at the age of 22.

Bobbi Kristina was originally found face down in her bathtub in January 2015 by a friend and her fiance, Nick Gordon. Although Bobbi Kristina was breathing when she arrived at the hospital, she was placed in a medically induced coma after doctors realized her brain functions had diminished. Her autopsy revealed she had alcohol, marijuana, morphine, and two other medications in her system. The cause of death is “undetermined” until there was evidence that Bobbi Kristina’s death was intentional or an accident.

A year later, in a civil lawsuit, Nick Gordon was found responsible for the death of Bobbi Kristina. Bobbi Kristina’s family won the lawsuit due to Nick Gordon failing twice to appear in court. Four years later, Nick Gordon died from a drug overdose.

Five years after the passing of his daughter, Bobby lost his son, Bobby Brown Jr. to a drug overdose. He was found unresponsive in his bedroom by his girlfriend at the age of 27. Doctors found alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl in Bobby Brown Jr.’s body.

As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Brown Jr. also appear in Bobby’s dreams from time to time.

Bobby reflects on his dreams:

“I always see them at the beaches or in fields. They’re running away but they’re laughing. And they’re always together. I didn’t have many dreams about Bobbi Kris before Bobby Jr. died. But then all of a sudden — floods of dreams.”
