Southside Shares ‘The Key’ To A Good Co-Parenting Relationship W/ Yung Miami: You Can’t Have Sex W/ Your Babymama
Southside is opening up about his co-parenting relationship with fellow hip-hop star Yung Miami, 28.
Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, and her ex-boyfriend Southside, born Joshua Luellen, have seemingly cracked the code for a successful co-parenting relationship. According to reports, the pair started dating in 2018 and broke up a couple of years later in 2020. They share their 2-year-old daughter Summer Luellen.
During a recent interview, Southside, 33, gave the mother of his child her flowers and reflected on why they have such a good relationship. When asked how are things with the “Top Notch” rapper He said,
“That’s still my dawg. Like, [we] have a kid. I’m not the bitter baby-daddy. I don’t do all that sh*t.”
The famed producer then shared that he’s “never” charged Yung Miami for one of his hit beats before.
He continued,
“I’m proud of [the City Girls]. I’ve really seen where she’s from – I’m proud. Like, super duper proud. And she’s still a good mom, still do good sh*t.”
Southside was then asked for “the key” to keeping a cordial co-parenting relationship. He replied,
“The key to a cordial co-parenting relationship is just no sex. You cannot have sex with your baby-mama.”
He continued,
“I got a girlfriend too, so you can’t have sex with your baby-mama with a girlfriend – cause it’s just kind of crazy.”
In addition to that, Southside shared that he has children with 4 different women. He added,
“One of them I really don’t know. The other 3, I love them.”
