Lamar Odom Reveals He Would Get Back Together W/ Taraji P. Henson Over Khloé Kardashian: It’s About Who You Love

Lamar Odom may be ready to finally move on from his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian

Former NBA star Lamar Odom married Khloé Kardashian in 2009 after only knowing each other for just one month. Despite their quick nuptials, the pair seemed to be madly in love and inseparable. However, On December 13, 2013, Khloé Kardashian, 38, filed for divorce from Lamar Odom and for legal restoration of her last name. They were officially divorced 3 years later in December 2016.

It’s been years since their split and Lamar has been very vocal about wanting his old thing back. However, during a recent interview, The 42-year-old giant shared that if given the chance, he’d rather get back together with his other famous ex, Taraji P. Henson, 51. He reportedly dated the actress in 2009, before he married Khloé.

Lamar tells Page Six, 

“Because I love Taraji. It’s a love thing. It’s about who you love.”

He continued,

“Taraji is a cool girl. Matter fact she’s here [in L.A.]. I got to see her at the BET Awards in June. So maybe I’ll get to shoot my shot at her again.”

He added,

“I think the difference between Taraji and Khloe is how they was brought up. Their upbringing, which makes people different and [affects] the way they think. I think Taraji is more skillful in what she does as an actress compared to what Khloé does.”

In a previous interview, Lamar claimed he left the “Empire” actress for Khloé n 2009. He said,

“Things ended with Taraji because me being an immature punk, I didn’t know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloé Kardashian.”

Both Taraji P. Henson and Khloé Kardashian have seemingly moved on from Lamar since their respective breakups. As previously reported, Khloé has been in an off-again-on-again relationship with her baby’s father, NBA player Tristan Thompson, 31, for years. The pair are off at the moment due to Tristan Thompson’s latest cheating scandal.

After two years of dating, Taraji P. Henson got engaged to retired NFL player Kelvin Hayden, 38, in 2018. However, they called the wedding off and broke up in 2020.
