O.J. Simpson Speaks Out In Support Of Police Officers Amid Reports That West Hollywood Has Voted To Defund The Sheriff’s Department: Trust me, we need police

 

It looks like O.J. Simpson is in support of the Los Angeles County law enforcement!

The 74-year-old former athlete turned ex-convict took to social media on Wednesday (June 29) to share his thoughts on West Hollywood voting to cut funding for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD).

The former NFL star was accused of killing his former wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994 but was acquitted in 1995. Now, in recent court documents, Fred Goldman, 81, says he’s applying for a renewal of his old judgment against O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted of the 1994 murder of Fred Goldman’s son, Ron GoldmanNicole Brown Simpson died along with Ron Goldman as they were both stabbed to death in Brentwood, California.

In 1997 O.J Simpson was ordered to pay $33.5 million to the Goldman family. In 2015, Fred Goldman stated O.J. owed him $57 million including interest. Goldman says interest has accumulated over the last seven years and has now reached up to $97 million.
