Bill Cosby – New Video Footage Shows Actor Moments After Being Released From Prison A Year Ago: I’m A Free Man
New video footage shows Bill Cosby celebrating just moments after he was released!
The disgraced comedian/actor’s publicist and crisis manager, Andrew Wyatt posted a video to his Instagram page on Thursday, (June 30) celebrating the one-year anniversary of Bill Cosby’s release from prison. In the video–which was filmed by Wyatt a year ago–Bill Cosby, 84, described the moment he was told he was a “free man.” Bill Cosby said,
“I was in the bed, in the cot, when they opened the door because it’s one o’clock and about four or five guys yelling: ‘Bill, get up. You’re going home.”
Cosby said he was confused and thought the guards were calling him to shower as he said he
“put my shower shoes on the wrong feet.”

According to Cosby, the guards quickly corrected him and said,
“No, no, no, you don’t understand, you’re free.”
Bill Cosby then recalled a joke he made to the guards:
“I said what is it? Juneteenth?’..But, man, when I left…murderers, rapists, bank robbers, wife beaters [were] all clapping.”
“I’m a free man,” Cosby says in the video, and suggests that he will no longer be called a “violent sex offender.”

Bill Cosby, once known as “America’s Dad,” served more than two years of his three-to-10-year sentence after he was convicted of drugging and molesting a woman named, Andrea Constand, at his Cheltenham, Pa. home in 2004.
Bill Cosby was released from prison on June 30 2021 after Pennsylvania’s highest court threw out his conviction on a technicality after finding that District Attorney Kevin Steele– the prosecutor who brought the case against Bill Cosby– violated an agreement to not charge him. The agreement was made by previous District Attorney Bruce Castor back in 2005– although the deal had apparently never been put in writing.

Last month, jurors in a civil trial discovered that Bill Cosby sexually abused a 16-year-old girl in 1975 at the Playboy Mansion. The alleged victim, Judy Huth, 64, recently sued Cosby for sexual battery in which he was found liable and was ordered to pay $500,000.
On Thursday (June 30) Bill Cosby took to social media and released a photo to give his supporters an update on his life post-incarceration.
The photo was captioned:
“After two years and 10 months fighting for my life and the truth – one year of freedom home with my family sure looks good on me (At least that’s what my wife says).”

Bill Cosby has been accused by more than 60 women of rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct.
