Loni Love Says She Never Received A Birthday Surprise During Her 8 Seasons On ‘The Real’

It looks like Loni Love may be throwing shade at her former job!

In honor of her birthday, E! news celebrated Loni Love, 51, on Thursday (July 14) by giving her a heartwarming birthday surprise.  Loni, who appears regularly E!’s Daily Pop Talk show, was moved to tears by the thoughtful gesture. Later that day, she took to Twitter to share the birthday surprise with her fans, in which she seemingly took a jab at her former workplace. In her tweet, Loni re-posted a video of her surprise and wrote:

“I was on a show for 8 seasons and never got a birthday surprise .. I am humbled for this. Thank you to my @enews fam …”

To some, it was clear that Loni Love was referring to her 8 seasons on ‘The Real.‘ Shortly after, a social media user replied by sharing a 2016 video of a birthday surprise done on ‘The Real’ for both Loni Love and former co-host, Tamera Mowry. It didn’t take long before Loni caught wind of the post and replied back,

“Like I said eight seasons boo.. never got one ..,that was a combo.. oooopp,”

She seemingly insinuating that the birthday surprise done on ‘The Real‘ didn’t count because it was celebrating two people versus giving her, her own surprise segment.

While some fans agreed with Loni’s sentiments, others felt she didn’t acknowledging the surprise she received on ‘The Real.’ See reactions below:

As previously reported, it was announced on Friday (Apr.8) that after 8 seasons, “The Real” had been canceled. The program’s current 8th season will be its final one as the show’s core station group, the Fox Stations, has opted not to renew it for next season. The final episode aired on Friday (June 3).
