Thankfully, D-Roc is doing much better now and even took to Instagram to thank his fans for their concerns. According to the “Salt Shaker” rapper, he suffered from heat exhaustion which caused him to pass out. In a video message, he explained,
“It was 84 degrees outside, but on stage, it made the temperature rise, so I was getting dehydrated… I kept telling my manager ‘it’s very hot up here.’ I kept drinking water. The next thing I know, I woke up on the golf cart.”
He continued,
“Paramedics were right there and they said I was dehydrated. I drank a bunch of gatorade and water, got some sleep and the next day I was in florida performing again…. Thank everybody for your love though, but I’m good.”
In his caption, D-Roc made sure to thank all his fans for their support and kind words throughout his medical scare on Friday night (July 29). He wrote:
“Thank you to everyone that has called, messaged, or reached out in anyway to check up on me. I’m doing good. #Ontario CA we’ll be seeing you on Saturday for the 00s Playlist Concert.

Vanilla Ice headlined the Ozark Empire Fair concert, which sparked controversy last week. The Kansas City Star reported on July 28 that controversial Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mark McCloskey posted a political ad online with Vanilla Ice’s name and photograph, referencing an upcoming performance by Vanilla Ice and the Ying Yang Twins at the fair. It encouraged visitors to “join team McCloskey.”
Reportedly, Vanilla Ice denied any affiliation with McCloskey. When asked by sources, the candidate confirmed that there’s no relationship between him and the artists, claiming that he never intended to suggest that one existed.
