Tabitha Brown’s Show Pulled From Food Network’s Prime-time Lineup: If You Don’t Like Everything That Makes Tab, Tab, Don’t Work With Me

Tabitha Brown’s ‘It’s CompliPlated’ Show Pulled From Food Network’s Prime-time Lineup: If You Don’t Like Everything That Makes Tab, Tab, Don’t Work With Me
Tabitha Brown’s It’s CompliPlated has moved to an all-new time slot.
Last week, Tabitha Brown took to her Instagram to share a not-so-cryptic message about her refusal to conform to Hollywood’s standards, and in doing so, she mentioned that the airtime for the Food Network series had been changed from Thursday nights to Tuesday afternoons.
In the almost-two-minute clip, Tabitha Brown started off by saying:
“I know I’ve said this so many times before, but, for whatever reason, people just don’t seem to believe me, okay? There is not a company, there is not a network, there is not a person, place, or thing, that is going to change who I am. If you don’t like Tab–as this Tab–if you don’t like the Tab who gives God glory, if you don’t like the vegan Tab, if you don’t like the cooking Tab, the mama Tab, if you don’t like my personality–if you don’t like everything that makes Tab, Tab, don’t work with me.”

If you don’t know, the famed actress and influencer rose to prominence after creating viral-worthy, Vegan-based content with a comedic twist. These days, she’s literally a household name.
With a Southern twang to accompany her motivational messages, it wasn’t long before the 43-year-old was labeled everyone’s favorite internet auntie. However, further in the video, Brown continued by alluding that her self-made brand that everyone grew to love had been deemed an issue for someone behind the scenes.
When speaking on the matter, she vaguely said:
“I’m not going to change. I’m not going to shift a little bit for your audience; I’m not going to talk a little bit different for your comfort. I’m not going to change! This person I am, this is who God created me to be, and if it ain’t enough for you, then you not for me. And if I bring it to your attention–that, wait, I don’t like how this feels; I feel like you’re trying to change me or erase my personality or my culture–and you get upset by that instead of hearing me from my heart, I also don’t want to be in business with you.”
As of now, although not named as the one who Brown’s comments were directed toward, the Food Network has remained relatively quiet.
The North Carolina native ended off her post by letting the fans in on It’s CompliPlated’s 1 p.m. slot on Tuesdays instead of the initial 9 p.m. slot on Thursdays.

Hosted by Tabitha Brown, It’s CompliPlated is a competition-led cooking show that centers four chefs as they battle it out for a grand prize of $10,000. Contestants are challenged to put together delicious dishes that will past the taste tests for not only a panel of guest judges but also culinary maven Maneet Chauhan.
