Ray J Says Kris Jenner ‘Masterminded’ The Release Of Infamous Kim Kardashian Sex Tape & Tried To ‘Ruin’ His Family

Ray J is speaking out about the infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape and what allegedly went down behind the scenes.

Recently, Ray J took to Instagram to call out businesswoman Kris Jenner, 66, via IG comment under a shared post. The singer-actor alleged that she “masterminded” the release of his and Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, told “false stories” about him, and tried to “ruin” his family.

The allegations come after Kanye West, 45, shared an alleged text from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian on behalf of her mother/manager Kris Jenner to his Instagram — who asked for the rapper to stop bringing her up.

In addition to the claims, Ray J, real name William Ray Norwood Jr., said Kris Jenner was the one who introduced him to Vivid CEO Steven Hirsch. Vivid was the company that released the sex tape between Kim Kardashian, 41, and Ray J in 2007. The 41-year-old R&B singer wrote,

“What about my mom Kris ? You telling people false stories about me, making the black man look horrible, for your gain, you introduced me to Steve HIRSH, you masterminded everything 4
your family, and tried to ruin mine at the same time smh – you don’t think all mothers get stressed? Or you special huh? – I know it’s old and I don’t care this makes me sick – but God had my back and still does” 

It’s not the first time Ray J has made the claim that Kris was the brains behind the release of the tape.

As previously reported, the “One Wish” singer once said the tape was planned. He alleged that he came up with the idea and when he presented it to Kim, she didn’t want to do it. She allegedly later embraced the idea and enlisted Kris to organize with Vivid Entertainment – a process he had little to do with. Ray J previously shared,

“I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about. I’ve never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak. It’s always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we’ve always been partners since the beginning of this thing.”

Of the footage, he said,

“She [Kim Kardashian] kept them all – she had to go find that tape [Sex Tape Cabo #1] and then present it. I never had a tape in my possession in our whole relationship. I never had a single one at my house – she had them at her house. She’s always had all the tapes in a Nike shoe box under her bed. I’m sure she has bigger beds now and better boxes. That’s how it all came about. Once I pitched the idea to her, just playing around a little bit, that’s when she jumped on the idea, talked to her mom and it was out of my hands from there.”

Kim and Ray J dated between 2002 and 2009. They met when they were both 21 and made the tape during her birthday celebrations that year.
