Regina Hall Explains Why She Keeps Personal Life Private, Shuts Down Rumors She Dated Late Actor Chadwick Boseman

Regina Hall doesn’t address dating rumors, but she had to clear at least one of them up.

In a recent interview, comedian and actress Regina Hall elaborated on how the pressure she feels about knowing what to put out into the public so her fans can view her from the outside looking in. Regina Hall said:

 “I mean I think I’m instinctively private, like it comes natural to me, but you know I just grew up in a different generation where you know, you did you and nobody knew.”

The 51-year-old continued:

“I mean that’s just – it’s just how I lived. So it’s just how I am, but I mean, I will say this, I’ve had stuff that’s very wrong.”

Hall explained:

“Usually the right stuff people don’t know, or there’s like this thing. Only reason I wouldn’t – I don’t even address, especially dating stuff, I don’t address it. But there’s one that I would clear up and I’ll only clear it up because it was untrue and because he’s not here – and that was like Chadwick Boseman.”

The Scary Movie film series actress added:

“I ran into him at vanity fair party and people assumed we dated and his fiancee was right behind us and they got married and they’re married, and he was never inappropriate and like only if it’s someone – if it’s like, if there was something like – and I saw you and like and because you’re married I met your wife, I always like that to be clear cause I would never want a um –”

As previously reported, two years ago actor Chadwick Boseman passed away on Aug. 28 from colon cancer. Back in 2016, Chadwick Boseman was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. He battled the disease in silence for four years as it moved up to stage IV.
