Megan Thee Stallion Will Make Her Hosting Debut + Perform On Upcoming ‘SNL’ Season
Megan Thee Stallion is taking her talents back to “Saturday Night Live,” but this time around she’ll have double duties as the performer and host!
On Tuesday (Sept. 20) news broke that Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, will make her “SNL” hosting debut on Oct. 15, during the series’ upcoming 48th season. She’s also the episode’s musical guest, which will mark her second time performing for “SNL” viewers. In 2020, the 27-year-old showed out on the “SNL” stage with comedian Chris Rock, 57, serving as the guest host.

At the time, Megan Thee Stallion performed “Savage” and was also joined by fellow rapper Young Thug, 31, who is currently incarcerated and facing RICO (and other) charges, to perform their track “Don’t Stop.”
Megan recently took to Instagram to speak about being invited back to “SNL.” She shared an image of the announcement and said,
“Hosting andddd performingggg [eye emoji] REAL HOT GIRL SH*T”

The 48th season of “SNL” is set to kick off on with three consecutive shows on Oct. 1, Oct. 8, and Oct. 15. The first two shows will be hosted by actors Miles Teller, 35, and Brendan Gleeson, 67, respectively – who are both making their hosting debuts. Teller’s musical guest will be rap legend Kendrick Lamar, 35, marking his 3rd “SNL” performance.

And Gleeson will be joined by Willow Smith as the performer, which will be her first time gracing the “SNL” stage solo. Earlier this year the 21-year-old singer joined Camila Cabello, 25, on the comedy sketch show for a performance of their “Psychofreak” collaboration.

“SNL” airs live coast-to-coast on NBC, at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.
