August Alsina Addresses Claims That His Physical Appearance Has Changed: This Is Connected To How The Body I’m In Processes Massive Trauma

August Alsina has grown a lot since the beginning of his career–mentally and physically–and he isn’t apologizing for any of it!

After cutting his hair (not too long ago), August Alsina recently took to his Twitter account to respond to a fellow user’s comment about the change in his looks.

“I feel like August Alsina never looks the same, every time I see him that’s a different man.”

While interacting with a few fans on the social platform, August Alsina quoted the individual’s tweet and broke down his reason for agreeing that his appearance has, indeed, evolved since he catapulted to the top of the music industry back in 2013.

The “Beautiful Way” singer replied,

“August Alsina feels the same way. Every time he wakes up, he’s a new shape shift esthetically & spiritually. He somehow thinks this is connected to the [effect] of how the body he’s in processes massive trauma, deals w/ the massive shadow and dreadfully fight to turn it n’to light.”

If you didn’t know, in 2017, Alsina announced his battle with a severe autoimmune disease. As a result, he expressed that the condition had been attacking his liver, causing a series of health issues.

However, despite those adversities, these days, it seems that Alsina has been managing pretty well. Earlier this year, the New Orleans-born crooner released a genderless skincare line, Encina Wellness, where he not only aims to cater to skin types within the melanin spectrum but promotes the importance of self-maintenance.

Amid his latest altercation with fellow R&B artist Tory Lanez, Alsina used the unfortunate circumstance to run a sale through his newfound company. A few weeks back, Tory Lanez reportedly assaulted Alsina at a mutual show in Chicago.

The incident was said to have taken place after Alsina’s failure to dap it up with Tory Lanez. Following the occurrence, Alsina recounted the event on his Instagram page, where he posted a photo of the wounds inflicted by Tory Lanez.

Footage from the initial verbal exchange from that night was shared, which accommodated Alsina’s claims of Lanez’s aggressive behavior, but the “Say It” songster has yet to directly admit that he sucker punched Alsina.
