Katt Williams Trends After Twitter User Fails To Recognize Him In Viral Photo, Calls Acclaimed Comedian ‘Bro In The Front’

Katt Williams is currently trending after a Twitter user failed to recognize him in a photo.

Katt Williams, real name Micah Williams, is a household name in comedy, racking up numerous awards and accolades across his two-decade career. It seems, however, the Emmy-Award-winner isn’t that recognizable in a group shot with his peers. On Sunday, October 9, Twitter user @HovDaGoat posted a photo featuring Katt Williams, Dave Chappelle, Madlib, and others, referring to the wildly successful Williams as “bro in the front.”

It’s unclear whether the social media user just neglected to identify the American Hustle comedian by name or truly didn’t know who he is. Sure enough, the Twitterverse swooped in quickly, calling them out on the inaccurate label.

Some threatened to block the Twitter user that started the drama, while others trolled them for their blatant disrespect toward a cultural treasure.

Katt Williams has been featured in many recognizable pop culture staples such as The Boondocks, Comic View, Friday After Next, Scary Movie, Atlanta, Black-Ish, Wild ‘n Out and Grand Theft Auto (IV).

The 51-year-old released a new stand-up special on Netflix titled Katt Williams: World War III back in May. His tour in support of that special, the “2023 and Me” tour, is all set to touch down in North Little Rock in February of next year.
