LeBron James’ Son Bronny Becomes First High School Signee To Collaborate w/ Beats By Dre In NIL Deal
Bronny James (real name LeBron James Jr.) continues to make moves on and off the court.
The 18-year-old son of Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James just made history by becoming the first high school signee to sign an endorsement agreement with Beats by Dre, one of the most popular headphone manufacturers in the world.
Beats by Dre has already unveiled a commercial featuring LeBron James and Bronny James to commemorate this brand-new partnership. The two are seen playing around in their backyard while listening to music on their respective Beats headphones.
Bronny James‘s collaboration with Beats comes not long after Nike announced that they too had signed a name, likeness, and image (NIL) deal with the rising star. Reports state that Bronny has represented Nike throughout his high school career at Sierra Canyon.
Because his father LeBron James signed with Nike in 2003 before his NBA career took off and later secured a $1 billion lifetime agreement with the company, the collaboration is equally notable.
According to Bronny,
“For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family. Getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild—it really means a lot to me.”
We’re excited to announce the newest student athletes to join our Nike family: Caitlin Clark, Bronny James, Haley Jones, DJ Wagner and Juju Watkins.

According to Nike, Bronny won MVP in a victory over St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, his father’s alma mater, as a high school freshman. He was the only player on the squad to play in all 34 games of the season.
Through his partnership with the leading sports brand, he hopes to continue helping the LeBron James Family Foundation and making a difference in the places that are most important to him.
