Antonio Brown Ordered To Pay $1.2 Million To Truck Driver Victim In Assault Case
Looks like Antonio Brown will have to cough up a hefty amount of cash to resolve an alleged altercation he was involved in.
According to reports, former NFL star Antonio Brown has been ordered to pay a moving truck driver $1.2 million after he allegedly attacked the man nearly three years ago. A Broward County jury awarded the damages to Anton Tumanov earlier this month after the wide receiver failed to respond or show up to hearings in the case.

Reports state the jury found 34-year-old Antonio Brown liable for $407,000 for Anton Tumanov’s past and future medical expenses, as well as $793,000 for past and future pain and suffering.
Reportedly, Anton Tumanov initially sued the ex-Buccaneers player back in May 2021. According to the alleged victim, Brown beat him up while he was attempting to make a delivery to the football player’s Broward County, Florida home on February 11, 2020.

In his lawsuit, Tumanov reportedly claimed Brown snapped at him when the two got into a dispute over payment for the services. Tumanov said the athlete damaged his vehicle and hit him multiple times. In the suit, he said it all caused him “severe bodily injuries.”
In addition, Tumanov also took matters to the authorities, and Brown was eventually hit with three criminal charges. However, the receiver instead cut a deal with prosecutors in June 2020 and agreed to probation and other stipulations, including community service hours and an anger management course, to have the case dropped.

The suit comes in the wake of Brown facing another legal issue in regard to the sale of a fraudulent accessory.
As previously mentioned, Brown is being sued by Florida millionaire, Ryan Kane, after allegedly selling him a fraudulent Richard Millie watch. Brown reportedly purchased the watch in Dubai for $200 but sold it to the man for $160,000 back in July. In total, the man claimed he gave Brown over $300,000. Ryan Kane elaborated,
“He sold me a fake watch after his Rolling Loud performance. On the plane ride back he was showing me the watches and he was telling me he would sell one to me. He told me they were real.”

He continued,
“So they next day I went to his house. He was trying to get me to buy more expensive watches. So I bought the watch. He wanted a lot more for it. We finally agreed to the $160K. I wired him the money the next morning.”
Ryan Kane explained how he discovered the watch was fake and said,
“So I went to get insurance on it, they told me it was fraudulent.”
The Florida native alleged that Brown went ghost after he tried to contact him for a refund. Kane explained,
“I sent him a text message that said ‘the watch you sold me was fake. I want my money back,’ and then he blocked me immediately. You wouldn’t block me unless you were guilty.”
