Taraji P. Henson Told Michael Ealy He Smelled Musty On Set While Filming “Think Like A Man 2”

Ladies, it has been confirmed that Michael Ealy isn’t perfect after all.

During the actor’s appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Kelly Clarkson requested that Michael Ealy share his story about an awkward “on camera connection” he had while shooting a romance scene with Taraji P. Henson for “Think Like A Man 2.” After complimenting Taraji P. Henson’s talent and sharing that the two actors are from the same town, Michael Ealy said:

“We’re doing a scene in ‘Think Like A Man 2’ and I had just had a kid so I didn’t get a chance to really like, you know, workout and prepare for this role and stuff. So right before this scene where I’m like shirtless in the bed with her and stuff like that I did about 250 pushups, right? Not in a row.”

The actor, born Michael Brown, admitted that he did the pushups in increments while the scene was being set. He continued:

“Pump up the muscles, you know, make it look, get the blood flow going. That’s a trick that everybody does. It makes you a lil’ moist and sweaty too. Glistening, yeah.”

The 49-year-old added:

“I was glistening and I’m laying down with her. We were like in between takes and she’s like, kind of like in here, ‘cause I’m kind of like on top of her and we’re just sitting there between the take and she says to me, she goes ‘hmm, you kinda ripe.’”

The “Takers” actor reflected:

“She was like Michael Ealy is not perfect. I was like ‘I mean Taraji you saw me doing the push ups come on. You know what I’m going through.’ She was like ‘I’m just telling you.’”

The Maryland native jokingly shared that he requested a towel from the crew and admitted that it was hard to get his character, Dominic, to be romantic amid the embarrassing moment he shared with the Taraji.
