Diddy & Son Christian Combs Make History w/ Songs Going #1 On R&B & Urban Charts
Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son, Christian Combs, have a lot to celebrate as they sit at the top of two different Billboard charts.
According to reports, the father-and-son duo made history on Tuesday (November 22), with each of their songs going #1 on the charts. The two artists are now the first parent and child to reach #1 on the Billboard charts with two different songs at the same time.

Reports state that Diddy, 53, and Christian Combs, 24, both released records this year that have steadily climbed two different airplay charts on Billboard, which measures radio spins.

Diddy’s “Gotta Move On” featuring Bryson Tiller reached the top spot on the Adult R&B Airplay chart Tuesday (Nov. 22) morning. The record reportedly marks Diddy’s 11th #1 song throughout his prolific career.
Christian Combs, who goes by King Combs, also went #1 on US Urban Radio for his song “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” featuring Kodak Black. The rising artist is celebrating his first #1 song.
Following the Hip-Hop pioneer’s milestone, City Girls member and rap star, Yung Miami, 28, gave Diddy a congratulations post on Instagram for his latest accomplishment. Yung Miami, who has been romantically linked to Diddy for some time now, wrote,
“Congratulations on going #1 @diddy!!! Well deserved I’m so proud of you, your hard work and
dedication never go unnoticed KEEP INSPIRING.”
