Tory Lanez Trends As People Debate Following The Singer’s First Day Of Trial For Allegedly Shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Tory Lanez has sent the Internet into a frenzy following the start of his trial for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet.

According to reports, on Monday (November 28), rapper Tory Lanez began his felony assault trial in connection with the incident involving fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

The 30-year-old rapper/singer appeared at a Los Angeles courthouse wearing a light gray suit with a black turtleneck top, along with tinted black frame sunglasses and black shoes.

As you may recall, musical artist Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, is reportedly accused of firing a gun in the direction of Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, in the Hollywood Hills at about 4:30 a.m. on July 12, 2020.

As previously reported, Megan, 27, was shot in the feet after she attended a party with Tory and her former friend Kelsey Nicole. Initially, the Houston native didn’t share who shot her. However, after Tory’s team allegedly tried to spread false narratives about what went down, Megan came forward and claimed Tory is the one who pulled the trigger. He faces a maximum sentence of around 23 years if convicted in the case.

Amid the start of his trial for felony assault charges, the Canadian native has been one of the trending topics in the U.S. on Twitter as people debate the controversial case. Some social media users are standing beside the Houston Hottie, while others are awaiting the final verdict.
