Safaree Says His Bodyguard Slammed A Woman For Criticizing His Parenting Skills & Threatening To Spit On Him While He Was w/ His Children: She Gonna Probably Try To Sue Me Now
Safaree may be facing a lawsuit from a woman who his bodyguard slammed after she allegedly attempted to approach him and his kids.
Recently Safaree took to social media to explain an unfortunate run-in he had with a woman who allegedly approached him regarding his reputation as a father. Safaree, full name Safaree Lloyd Samuels, began his lengthy explanation and said:
“I’m only addressing this right now because now it’s like starting to trickle into real life. So, I was somewhere just now, I got my kids with me and you know, some lady…she sees me and she’s like ‘oh, good to see you’re with your kids.’ But she said it in a very like, you know, it was very disrespectful. I didn’t know who this lady was.”
The 41-year-old continued:
“I looked at her I said ‘yo, get the f*ck.” I say whatever I say to her and then she says to me, ‘if you weren’t with your kids I would spit at you.’ I’m with my security so now you’re talking crazy and as she’s saying it she’s kind of like coming towards me and I’m there, you know, I got the stroller and the kids.”
The Brooklyn native explained that the incident possibly happened based on how television portrays him to be:
“[My security] body slammed her so hard. She was on the floor looking stupid and it’s like, yo, you asked for it. You see somebody with their kids. You don’t know me. I don’t care if you see me on tv, social media, you do not know me in real life. I’m with my kids Monday to Thursday…every week and I’m paying child support.”
The trials and tribulations of Safaree’s relationship with ex-wife Erica Mena played out on VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop.” Viewers got to watch Erica Mena fight to get through heartbreak after Safaree allegedly cheated and seemingly wasn’t the most active parent. As previously reported, in September a judge signed off on Safaree’s divorce from Erica Mena and mandated that the rapper pay $4,305 monthly in child support. The ex-couple, who tied the knot in 2019, share two children together, Legend and Safire.
Safaree elaborated on his encounter with the unnamed woman and said:
“There’s people out there who pay child support and they don’t even be with their kids. I’m paying child support and I’m with my kids half the time back and forth whatever, whatever, doing what I gotta do. For the most part I was just letting people think whatever they wanna think, I ain’t even care what anyone thought. But the fact that somebody really in real life came up to me and said something.I don’t know if it was a close line or a body slam whatever she was on the floor looking stupid. She gonna probably try to sue me now, it is what it is.”
Admitting that the encounter shocked him, he shared:
“I’m at a loss for words like, y’all really taking all of this way too far. You don’t know me in real life you don’t know nothing going on. My child support will cover your entire mortgage and your whole life for the year. So y’all don’t worry about nothing going on over here and mind y’all bl**dcl*t business.”
After explaining that an individual’s intelligence should expand after they pass their childhood stages, he continued:
“I am blown away, like yo, if I saw someone I didn’t know, I don’t care whether they’re famous or not – I’m not saying nothing. People are really obsessed with other people’s lives. I’m in awe. She’s getting up trying to grab her phone and then take out her camera. Her phone broke, yeah stupid. You’re coming up to somebody with their kids and you’re being disrespectful. Now you’re on the floor looking stupid, your phone got broke when you got slammed on the door. Oh well, keep your distance, especially when somebody’s with their kids.”
Declining sympathy from the public, he claimed:
“I don’t need sympathy, I don’t need pity, and I don’t need the attention. I am the attention everywhere I go no matter what. It comes with me being me, so I dont need to ‘omg this happened, oh this person,’ like no! Come on. This sh*t is wack, straight up. Unless your safety is at risk keep your mouth shut.”
Safaree then admitted:
“The end days are coming straight up. Cause stupidity is at an all time high. I’m so glad my kids were sleeping because they wasn’t awake to see that. There was no crying, no screaming, no none of that. They didn’t even know that that happened. Run up, you get done up. That was just so unnecessary. Yo, wow! I’m out, I’m logged off until 2023. I’m out.”
