Cher’s Inner Circle ‘Concerned’ About Relationship w/ Younger Boyfriend AE: The Warning Signs Are There

Singing superstar Cher may think the world of her new boo AE, but her friends reportedly have a different view.

According to Radar Online, the 76-year-old’s closer inner circle has some major concerns about her new relationship with the music producer.

As previously reported, Cher revealed she was dating Amber Rose’s ex Alexander “AE” Edwards, 36, back in November. The shocking news came after the two entertainers were spotted out after a dinner date hand in hand.

Subsequently, the mega-famous songstress gushed about her new relationship and shared the two began dating after meeting during Paris Fashion Week. Though some fans quickly showed concern for Cher, the “Believe” artist insisted she understood the risk of dating a person 40 years her junior. She wrote:

“As we All Know …I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY,& What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees. Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance.I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am”

Cher also spoke about the relationship during a recent interview, where she stated:

“He’s [AE] fabulous,…he’s very kind, he’s very smart, he’s very talented and he’s really funny.

Adding:

“And I think he’s quite handsome.”

Despite going to bat for her relationship, it seems Cher’s loved ones aren’t so convinced. Reportedly, inside sources say that the Grammy-winning artists’ inner circle thinks she’s falling too hard for AE. The source reportedly stated:

“Cher has a lot of people worried for her right now…She’s saying it’s her business who she dates and she’ll make her own decisions, but the warning signs are there for everyone to see.”

Adding:

“Cher’s in way over her head as far as the vast majority of her friends are concerned…They want her to see this for what it is, a fun winter fling. They don’t want her to get carried away.”

It doesn’t seem the insider shared any details about the “warning signs,” but looking back at history, it’s safe to assume they involve other women. Prior to splitting from his ex, AE received a public lashing from Rose, who accused him of being a serial cheater. Announcing their separation via Instagram, the mother of two wrote:

“I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes. All 12 of y’all bums (the ones that I know of there’s probably more) can have him…I can’t be the only one fighting for my family anymore. I’ve been so loyal and transparent but I haven’t gotten the same energy in return. I’ll never say the girls name because I’m not in the business of ruining lives but y’all know who y’all are,”
