Lil Wayne’s Personal Chef Suing For $500K, Claims She Was Wrongfully Terminated For Leaving Work To Take Care Of Injured Son

Lil Wayne’s personal chef is taking him to court!

According to reports, Morghan Medlock, Lil Wayne’s former personal chef, is suing the rapper after he gave her the boot for leaving him in Las Vegas to handle a family emergency during Memorial Day weekend. Morghan Medlock is suing Lil Wayne for wrongful termination, retaliation, and other unlawful practices that she claims she was subjected to when he fired her earlier this year.

According to reports, Morghan Medlock worked for the 40-year-old entertainer for almost two years. Over the summer, while on a work trip with the rapper and his team, she received a call notifying her that her 10-year-old son had sustained a head injury that left him hospitalized. Medlock wanted to get back to Los Angeles immediately to tend to her son but the rapper and his crew allegedly delayed her flight home. Instead of waiting for a flight confirmation from Weezy, Medlock says she booked her own flight, notifying his assistant of her situation assuming they’d understand.

However, Medlock alleges Wayne’s team asked her multiple times if she was quitting after she made it clear that she was only making sure her son was okay and not leaving her job. After she handled her family issues, the personal chef claims she received the cold shoulder from the Louisiana rapper and his team. Eventually, a team member texted Medlock with a shocking goodbye message informing her that she was fired. According to the suit, Wayne, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., instructed his team to,

“Tell Chef Morghan this isn’t going to work.”

Medlock says to fire someone because they missed work to care for their sick or injured child is in violation of California’s law and she wants at least $500,000 from Wayne for the injustice.
