Akon Says Africans Are Better Performers Than Black Americans: Them N*gg*s Gon’ Be Wobbling, Pants Hanging Half Down, Bored As Hell

Akon is letting it be known that Africa is where the real talent is at!

Recently, Akon appeared as a special guest on “The Zeze Millz Show” where he contrasted the performers in Black America to the performers in Africa. In Akon’s opinion, Africa takes the win when it comes to hitting the stage. Akon,49, explained to media personality ZeZe Millz

“We a little different when it comes to stage presence.”

He continued and broke down his thought process.:

“Now America? Oh yeah. Them n*gg*s gon’ be wobbling, pants hanging half down, bored as hell, half asleep ‘cause they high as hell on stage.”

He then said:

“But Africa, we wake up – Like look at these YouTube clips of all these kids from Uganda.”

Akon added:

“These kids are performers. So for us, it comes natural.”

This isn’t the only controversial thing Akon said during the now-viral interview. As previously reported, the Senegalese-American singer faced a little backlash for comments made about Nick Cannon’s lifestyle and his expansive family tree. You’re probably aware by this point that Nick Cannon shares 11 children, and has one on the way, with six different women.

The “Wild N Out” host is the dad to 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He shares sons Golden (5 years old) and Rise (11 weeks old) and daughter Powerful (2 years old), with Brittany Bell. With Abby De La Rosa, the comedian shares daughter Beautiful (1 month) and 18-month-old twins Zion and Zillion.

In addition, Nick shares a 5-month-old son Legendary with model Bre Tiesi and a daughter Onyx, 5 months, with photographer LaNisha Cole. He’s currently expecting a child with model Alyssa Scott. Unfortunately, the co-parents’ first child, son Zen, died from brain cancer at 5 months old in December 2020.

Akon, Nick Cannon

When asked if he agrees with the way Nick Cannon has been “spreading his seed,” Akon replied:

“I agree with him 1,000 percent. That’s how life is supposed to be.”

The “Lonely” singer added:

“He’s rich. He’s responsible. He takes care of every one of those children. And the baby mothers are with it. And they hurt for nothing. And they live comfortably.”
