Lil Keed’s Cause Of Death Attributed To Natural Causes Due To Eosinophilia
Lil Keed’s cause of death has been revealed.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner/Coroner’s Office, the Atlanta rapper died from natural causes due to eosinophilia. Eosinophilia is defined as “a higher than normal level of eosinophils. Eosinophils are a type of disease-fighting white blood cell. This condition most often indicates a parasitic infection, an allergic reaction, or cancer.”

As previously reported, Lil Keed (born Raqhid Jevon Render) – who was affiliated with Young Thug‘s YSL Records — died on May 13, at the age of 24 just hours after he entered Burbank hospital while dealing with stomach and back pain.
According to the autopsy report, the coroner said it’s unclear what caused the condition. Per the coroner’s report,
“He had been sick in bed for 4 days with complaints of stomach and back pains. His brother noted that the decedent’s eyes were jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.”
Lil Keed reportedly suffered a seizure as he was en route to receiving medical treatment “before going unresponsive.” He later died at the hospital at 10:14 p.m. that same day.
According to the coroner’s report, Lil Keed had a previous medical scare that landed him in a Georgia hospital after experiencing stomach pain, however, the “Snake” rapper “left against medical advice and did not seek follow-up care.” The coroner cites that he regularly consumed alcohol and smoked from a vape pen. According to his relatives, he was not a drug user and didn’t have any unrelated medical conditions.
At the time of his passing, Lil Keed’s brother and fellow rap artist Lil Gotit took to Instagram to mourn the loss of his family. He wrote:
“Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy #ImaHoldthisSh*tDown”

Quana Bandz — Lil Keed’s girlfriend and the mother of daughter Naychur — also mourned the rapper in an Instagram post of her own.
“I love you sooooo much baby… I can’t breathe right sleep right nothing I don’t even wanna talk to nobody. What am I supposed to tell Naychur? What am I gone tell our new baby? Keed I just told you the other day if you left me with these two kids I was gone loose my mind. My Mind is lost baby.”
