Deb Antney Claims Gucci Mane Did Not Kill Jeezy’s Associate Pookie Loc: Let’s Stop Talking About That Now Because All These Kids Think You’re The Number One Killer

Deb Antney is spilling some hot tea!

During an appearance on the ‘Ugly Money Podcast,’ Deb Antney seemingly claimed that there is no truth to the allegations that Gucci Mane killed Jeezy‘s associate Henry “Pookie Loc” Lee Clark III.

The entertainment manager, who is also the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame, made the disclosure while talking about the Verzuz Battle between Gucci Mane and Jeezy. As you may recall, in 2020 the two rappers shocked the world by putting their 15-year beef aside to perform on the same stage in a Verzuz Battle. At the end of the event, they even performed their hit track “So Icy” together.

During her latest interview, Deb Antney applauded the pair for working together for the greater good, but she expressed displeasure with Gucci Mane‘s remarks on Pookie Loc — alluding that the “Lemonade” rapper has misled the public into believing he killed the man during a home invasion.

Antney said,

“It’s over with now. Technically, you really didn’t kill anybody, you know what I’m sayin’?”

She added,

“Let’s stop talking about that now because all these kids think that you’re the number one killer. And let’s not talk about it no more because now you’re a dad, you got two sons. Come into that and think about your kids looking at something. And these kids are looking at you a certain kind of way of something that’s fictitious. It was done for rap.”

And while the Verzuz Battle between the two rappers ultimately ended on a positive note, the pair definitely took shots at each other throughout. As tensions began to flare on stage, Jeezy (real name Jay Jenkins) reminded Gucci (real name Radric Davis) that they were going toe to toe for a cause far beyond rap. Jeezy said,

“I extended my hand because I am a real man. And the sh*t we came from in the streets dog, you see that we been through it dog. 20 years, and when I said I wanted to do this sh*t for the culture that’s what I wanted to do n*gga.”

He added,

“All these kids out here doing what the f*ck they do cause they saw what went on with us dog. So this sh*t ain’t about me. It ain’t about you, you feel what I’m saying? This sh*t about King Von. This sh*t about Doe B. This sh*t about Nipsey Hussle. This sh*t about motherf*cking Pop Smoke [and] M3.”

By the end of the showdown, Gucci finally seemed to be ready to put their feud behind him, saying,

“Aye man listen – all respect. I appreciate you for throwing out the olive branch. I accept that, no disrespect. It’s all love.”

As previously reported, Gucci and Jeezy initially fell out nearly 20 years ago after they recorded “So Icy.” Jeezy reportedly thought the song would end up on his debut album ‘Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101′ — but it was instead placed on Gucci’s first independent album, ‘Trap House.’ The move allegedly upset Jeezy, who also claimed he was never paid for his appearance on the track.
