NeNe Leakes’ Son Brentt Shows Off 100-Pound Weight Loss Transformation Months After Suffering Stroke

Brentt Leakes seems to be in a much healthier place!

Nene Leakes’ son Brentt Leakes revealed his shocking 100-pound weight loss, just four months after suffering from a stroke.

On Sunday (Jan.15) Brentt Leakes took to Instagram to share an inspiring before and after photo of himself, showing off his new figure. He captioned the post,

“Focus on you until The focus is you. #100poundsdown”

 As previously reported, on Oct. 10, NeNe Leakes took to social media to confirm reports that her son Brentt suffered both congestive heart failure and a stroke. The former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ star said:

“Two weeks ago today Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke. He’s only 23, so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him. The first thing a lot of doctors think of when someone that age comes in with that kind of condition is maybe they’ve done drugs or some serious infection, maybe HIV.“

She continued,

“Brentt doesn’t drink or do drugs… they also tested him for HIV. They were thinking that maybe he had caught COVID and he didn’t know that he had COVID. They did see some things like that happen if [someone] caught the Delta variant. He never knew he had COVID. I’ve never known him to have COVID. So, they have run a number of tests on him to see what could have possibly made this happen to him.”

Nene added,

“We are still trying to figure it out because if we knew the cause, obviously they could treat the cause. It was very scary. I don’t even want to go into details of what happened… how I found out and what condition he was in. Obviously a stroke is a very serious thing. He’s struggling with speaking. I don’t know. I just know that…keep us in your prayers.”

After nearly two months in the hospital, Brentt Leakes was discharged and allowed to return home in November. On November 22nd, Brentt took to his Instagram story and gave his followers an update on his health, and revealed that he was back home. While recording a video in what appeared to be his bedroom, he exclaimed:

“I’m back at my house!”

He happily reiterated at least six times:

“I’m back at my house! I’m back inside.”
