Tokyo Toni Slams Daughter Blac Chyna Over ‘Terrible’ Grammy Look: ‘Who Are You Trying To NOT Impress?’

Blac Chyna’s mother, Tokyo Toni, wasn’t feeling the socialite’s outfit at this year’s Grammy Awards.

In a recent interview, Tokyo Toni, the mother of reality television star Blac Chyna, shared she was unimpressed with her daughter’s look at the Grammys. On Sunday (Feb 5) Blac Chyna, 34, strutted down the red carpet at the 65th annual Grammy Awards in an all-black bedazzled bodysuit accompanied by a large add-on piece of all-black peacock-like feathers. The outfit was reportedly put together by a fashion stylist who goes by the name of Hollywood Larry.

Tokyo Toni said she texted her daughter as soon as she saw her outfit on the internet. The 51-year-old said:

“I texted Chyna this morning when I found out and I saw it. I said ‘Chyna, what in the ‘H’ is this? Who are you trying to NOT impress? And was this the guy that lives with you? Because this looks like his style.’”

Tokyo Toni admitted:

“It might’ve been a little mean or whatever but it was well deserved.”

The outspoken mother continued and shared:

“Maybe if I said ‘oh the dress was beautiful,’ maybe I would’ve got a response. It was terrible.”

Tokyo Toni, born Shalana Jones-Hunter, added that she wishes she had a time machine to change her daughter’s look:

“I just wish that whole day could just rewind and bring her back and put a nice golden dress on her with some blonde hair. We’d been happy. It was horrible.”

As previously reported, over the years Chyna, born Angela White, and her mom have had a rocky relationship online and on television. The mother-daughter duo went viral in 2019 for a heated dispute they had on the model’s reality series ‘The Real Blac Chyna.’ Toni also has a history of calling her daughter out online.
