On Monday (Feb. 6) Allison Boss filed a California Spousal Property Petition in the Superior Court of California to attempt to get her late husband’s assets put in her name. Being that Stephen did not have a will set at the time of his death, his wife asked the court for “confirmation of property belonging to the surviving spouse” and “determination of property passing to the surviving spouse.”

In the filing, Allison Boss said when they tied the knot in 2013 Stephen did not have a net worth. She claimed that he “owned only personal effects of little value” before getting his permanent spot on “The Ellen Show.” The filing also noted the property Allison wants to receive as Stephen’s surviving spouse but added she is not requesting administration over her late husband’s estate. The documents read:

“This includes any interest in a trade or business name of any unincorporated business or an interest in any unincorporated business that the deceased partner was operating or managing at the time of death.”

Per the court filing, Allison, 35, also requested royalties from Cast and Crew Production Services; Disney Worldwide Services, Inc.; GEP Talent Services, LLC; and SAG/AFTRA.

The late entertainer and his wife, who is a dancer and actress, shared three children together: Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3.

As previously reported, investigators discovered that in December Stephen took an Uber to a motel less than a mile away from his home the day before he died. While there, he reportedly switched his phone to airplane mode to disregard phone calls. A motel staffer later found the TV personality inside his room deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
