Ne-Yo & 2 Chainz Tapped For Season 3 Of Hit Starz Series ‘BMF’

Ne-Yo & 2 Chainz Tapped For Season 3 Of Hit Starz Series ‘BMF’
Ne-Yo and 2 Chainz will take a break from the studio as they head to Starz for season three of BMF.
The “Miss Independent” singer (real name Shaffer Chimere Smith) will take on the role of “Rodney “Greeny” Green, a local Atlanta player with confidence and an enterprising spirit — and he’s all about getting to the money.
2 Chainz (real name Tauheed Epps) will play “Stacks,” an Atlanta native and distributor whose presence and wisdom command respect wherever he goes. Stacks, who reportedly adheres to the street code, confronts Meech‘s leadership style and is fiercely loyal and committed to supporting his family at all costs.
BMF, which is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, is a crime drama series that centers on the drug and money laundering conducted by the Black Mafia Family. Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory is played by his biological son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory is played by actor Da’Vinchi.
While the Starz series is a hit among viewers, Black Mafia Family first lady Tonesha Welch is not happy with the way she is depicted. Welch recently took to Instagram to write a lengthy statement in which she called out the show’s writers for portraying her to seemingly be a pedophile. The first lady’s life reportedly inspired Markaisha Taylor, played by actress La La Anthony.
Welch said,
“WTF who wrote this part of the Story. Terri 17 I’m 26 years my Husband a king pen but I’m having sex with a 17 year old who’s supposedly still in high school. So before Terri goes on the run he comes to my job, its close for the day we sneak in the janitors room and have Sex. I guess he’s to young to have an apartment he’s still in high school or lives with his parents. I guess they have Markisha looking like a pedophile.”

She added,
“If This was reverse and Markisha was 17 years old y’all be trying to put him in jail. Why are they portraying this role like this. Omg RandyHuggins this is sad. I never kiss this man until he was i25 years old. This is crazy. This is what happens when you hire the wrong representative.”
Welch — Southwest T’s former longtime girlfriend — reportedly became introduced to the money, power, and street lifestyle during her early teen years. By the age of 19, she was acquainted with BMF and living the life of a rich Hollywood figure. She was ultimately sentenced to 57 months in prison after being arrested alongside her peers.

According to Welch,
“I tell people all the time it’s like a habit … it’s an addiction. I had to have it. I had to have this money, I had to do this, I had to. It was crazy. It’s like I was on a high. You were on a high just doing something, making moves and getting away with it. It’s the whole power of it all, the way people looked at you. Then, once you come down, you’re like, ‘What was I doing?’”
