The Kardashians Have Reportedly Been Cut From The 2023 Met Gala Guest List

The Met Gala possibly won’t be seeing the Kardashians this year. 

According to reports, there’s a high chance that the 2023 Met Gala will be Kardashian-free after the entire family (minus Rob Kardashian) attended the event for the first time last year. Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Anna Wintour, who is in charge of the guest list, is reportedly considering not sending the reality TV family invites this year.

However, a source close to the Kardashian family claims that the rumors of them being snubbed by Anna Wintour aren’t true. 

 As you may know, beauty mogul Kim Kardashian, 42, made it to the Met Gala for the first time in 2013, with her now ex-husband Kanye West. At the time, she was pregnant with North West, their first child. In 2019, she addressed becoming a Met Gala fixture as she reflected on her first time at the event.  

“I didn’t know anyone [and] I’m sure no one wanted me there.” 

She added:

 “I went home [and] cried after of insecurity.”

The SKIMS founder has been known for wearing outfits at the Met Gala from many famed designers and brands, including; Givenchy, Lanvin, Roberto Cavalli, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, and Balenciaga. She also showed up in a vintage Marilyn Monroe piece from 1962. Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian had their first Met Gala experience last year, marking the first time all the Jenner-Kardashian sisters appeared at the event together.
