Rapper Toosii Slams North Carolina Officers For Allegedly Pulling A Gun On Him: ‘You Was Dead A** Finna Shoot Me’
Rapper Toosii is calling out North Carolina police officers after they allegedly pulled a gun on him.
In a March 12 Instagram post, Toosii shared a video of him and several officers arguing about who flashed their weapon first. In the footage, a frustrated Toosii said,
“But your man just pulled a gun on me.”
The officer responded,
“Because you just pulled – had your gun.”
Toosii continued, claiming that he did not pull his gun on the officers but was actually picking up his firearm after it fell out of the car onto the ground. However, the officers seemingly took that as the “Heartaches” rapper’s confession that he, in fact, had a gun in his hand at some point during his confrontation.
Toosii continued to argue that he wasn’t the one in the wrong and said,
“But I put my hands up and you still pulled your gun on me.”

An officer off-camera replied back in a sarcastic tone,
“Alright you’re very observant.”
An upset Toosii continued,
“You was dead a** finna shoot me.”
The officer simply said,
“Okay sorry you feel that way.”
In the rest of the nearly two-minute video, both parties argued whether the police yelled out “gun,” seemingly indicating Toosii flashed his firearm in a threatening manner.
In the caption of the post, Toosii said,
“Mind you I live in the state of North Carolina! An OPEN CARRY STATE where I am also LICENSED TO CARRY. You would think officers are more trained for situations like this but instead you get officer dip sh*t who pulls his gun out on me because he‘a so in fear for his life and ready to kill an innocent man and take him away from his family!”
Toosii continued,
“I’m in disbelief at how someone who could have went throhhh so much training could have honestly reacted this way… I could have senselessly lost my life tonight because some coward was too afraid and doesn’t know how to do his job.”
It’s not clear how the incident wrapped but Toosii did ask if he was going to receive a ticket before the footage ended.
