Xscape’s Latocha Scott Seemingly Denies Her Sister Tamika’s Claims That She Stole Her Royalty Money, Says Her Allegations Have ‘Nothing To Do w/ Anything’

Xscape member Latocha Scott is seemingly denying her group mate/sister Tamika’s shocking claims that she stole $30,000 in royalties. In a recent interview, when asked about the issue, she said,

“My thing is this, when it comes down to family I like to keep things, you know, deal with it behind closed doors.”

She added,

“My sister and I have been threw a lot and I’ll say that when my father left my sisters had issues with things and life. And so we’ve always to keep that to the side. Whenever she’s confronted with anything it’s always ‘this this and that’ and it has nothing to do with anything, to be honest with you.”

She added,

“And I don’t like to really talk about the things that we go through because I keep that behind closed doors but as an older sister there was no favoritism.”

Latocha further explained that they haven’t had a chance to really discuss the situation but she’s hopeful things can be fixed with “God’s help.”

Kandi, another group member in Xscape, also addressed the allegations on a recent episode of her YouTube series, “Kandi Online.” She explained that her group member Tiny’s mother signed the members up to be a part of Sound Exchange. She said it was for,

“the benefit of helping artists get royalties, Airplay, and stuff like that.”

She added,

“I was told that allegedly someone, I don’t wanna say no names, had Tamika’s check going to their address. And that allegedly they were signing Tamika’s name on the check and depositing the check.”

These serious allegations between the sisters came to light during a recent episode of “SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B.” Viewers watched as Tamika accused her sister Latocha (and Latocha’s husband Rocky Bivens) of stealing money from her. At one point during the verbal dispute, Tamika said,

 “When you stole my money, mama didn’t say nothing. When you and Rocky stole my money, mama didn’t say nothing. Mama got quiet, just like she quiet now.”
