Tamar Braxton Reveals Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Is The ‘RHOA’ Couple That Allegedly Threatened Her: ‘That Sh*t Really Did Happen’

Tamar Braxton reveals the tea behind her alleged beef with a “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” couple.

On Sunday (Mar. 19) singer/reality star Tamar Braxton, “Basketball Wives” alum Evelyn Lozada, and singer Nivea, appeared on an episode of Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” to promote their new dating series “Queens Court.” 

During the show, a fan asked Tamar Braxton to come clean about an Instagram post she made three months ago, alleging a beef with an “RHOA” couple. As previously reported, in a series of Instagram stories she wrote: 

“I got a story y’all wanna hear about it?”

She continued:

“I was threatened by a [peach emoji] and they man.”

According to Andy Cohen, 54, some fans speculated Braxton’s subliminal posts were about Eva Marcille, 38, and her husband or Drew Sidora, 37, and her soon-to-be-ex. However, Braxton made it clear the posts were “not” about them.

Braxton, 46, continued:

“It really did happen. I’m not lying. I’m not looking for attention or drama or anything like that, but that sh*t really did happen. It was not cute.”

After Cohen asked if it was Kandi Burruss, Braxton sipped her cocktail, seemingly pleading the fifth.

Braxton then added that she thought she and Kandi Burruss got over their drama during their time on  “Big Brother” and she had “no idea” Kandi was mad at her.

After the episode aired, Braxton took to Twitter to address users who claimed she went in on Kandi on live television. She wrote:

“Before y’all start.. I left the situation alone. but the fact is kandi &Todd wanted to fight me!! Periodt!! There was witnesses and Jr came to the next show to check Todd and she nor he won’t address it cause how do u defend that? The facts are the facts tho. I’m off it #changed” 

The “Yesterday” singer also addressed another fan who “wished” she ignored the question to refrain from being problematic. Braxton said:

“I answered a question like everyone else does. I’m not scared of anyone or the truth! Y’all don’t want me to say nothing cause ThTs not her narrative on tv. It’s been months and she addresses EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.. why not this? I welcome them both to speak on it and LIE.”

On Monday (Mar. 20) Braxton, seemingly tired of the social media back-and-forth, took to Instagram live to share with her fans the details behind what caused the feud with her, Kandi, and Todd Tucker, 49.

According to Braxton, following a concert, she bumped into Kandi in the hallway where things escalated. She said:

“I’m like ‘hey boo!’ and I give her a hug. She just look at me and she’s like ‘I ain’t f*ck*ng with you.’ And I’m like ‘what?’ I’m thinking she’s kidding and she’s like ‘I ain’t f*ck*ng with you.’”

Braxton alleged Kandi then said:

“‘You said that sh*t you said when about Carlos King was foul’ I honestly truly forgot about it. I’m like ‘listen I didn’t mean no harm. I wasn’t trying to go against you or nothing like that.’”

Braxton added that despite apologizing multiple times, Kandi wasn’t hearing it and threatened to take things to the next level. 

Braxton said she replied:

“‘Whats the name of the level you wanna take it to? What you wanna fight?’”

She also shared that while she was having it out with Kandi, “Toddina” (aka Todd Tucker) interjected and threatened her as well. 

It’s unclear if the ladies will be able to recover from this incident, but it’s clear that — for now — they’re back to being frenemies.
