LaTocha Scott Continues To Deny Claims She Stole $30,000 In Royalty Money From Her Sister + Alludes Tamika Scott Made Up The Allegations For A Storyline For Their New Reality Series: ‘You’re Talking About Something That Happened 10 Years Ago That I Know Nothing Of’
LaTocha Scott is seemingly tired of the back-and-forth between her and her sister/groupmate Tamika Scott.
In a recent interview with the ladies of “Cocktails With Queens,” LaTocha Scott opened up about rumors surrounding her sister’s claims that she stole around $30,000 from her in money tied to their royalties. The Xscape singer said:
“I think the misconception for me is that I’m a mean girl or that I’m a thief.”

According to LaTocha Scott, 49, she hasn’t had peace of mind since her sister went public with the allegation that she stole 6-figures from her 10 years ago. She shared:
“Even with the $30,000 allegation from my sister, of which I’ve always wanted clarity since day one. I’ve called, I’ve reached out, I’ve sent voice messages to try to get clarity because you’re talking about something that happened 10 years ago that I know nothing of. And I’m finding out in-scene.”
The Georgia native then seemingly accused her sister of starting the drama for clout.
“My thing is, was this for a storyline? Or is this real life? Because in real life, me and my sister, we talk. And you talking about 10 years ago and I’m calling you, and if somebody accuses you of something, they should be able to talk to you about it.”
She added:
“It’s not even about the $30,000. Its about having my sister back. Like, I’ll give you that! But at the end of the day, you need to talk to me. I don’t wanna hear it from somebody – you’re talking to everybody else outside of me. Talk to me. I’m your sister.”

Following the premier of the reality series “The Queens of R&B” — a show about SWV and Xscape reuniting to the music scene — the drama between the sisters/ group members has remained in the headlines. In an earlier episode this season, Tamika accused Latocha and her husband Rocky Biven of stealing money from her. Tamika angrily said:
“When you stole my money, mama didn’t say nothing. When you and Rocky stole my money, mama didn’t say nothing. Mama got quiet, just like she quiet now.”
However, despite Tamika’s claims and other members of Xscape seemingly backing her allegations, Latocha has maintained her innocence.
