Nick Cannon Defends Jennifer Lopez Against Critics Who Slammed Singer For Launching Alcohol Brand Despite Previously Advocating For Sobriety: ‘It’s All About The Experience’
Nick Cannon is all for Jennifer Lopez’s cocktail launch!
In a recent sit-down on Angela Yee’s radio show “Way Up With Yee,” Nick Cannon took a moment to defend Jennifer Lopez’s decision to launch an alcohol brand. As previously reported, critics recently called Jennifer Lopez out after she announced her new endeavor, an alcohol brand called Delola. The “On The Floor” artist was slammed because she and her husband Ben Affleck have both been proud advocates of sobriety over the years.
However, it seems Nick understands how a person who doesn’t drink can spearhead an alcohol brand. During his interveiw with Angela Yee, he shared,
“I don’t drink either but I got an alcohol brand.”

The “Wild N Out” creator continued and said it’s more about the “experience.”
“It’s all about the experience. Whatever gotta get you on the high frequency and vibration that we got. So, we definitely got the ‘Incredible’ tequila coming.”
He continued,
“I DJ. I’m in the club. I buy bottles. I’ve been buying bottles for 20-something years. So I’m a part of the culture. [But] I choose not to put the poison in me.”
