Fivio Foreign Issues Apology To Videographer Who Says He Shot Content For The Rapper But Wasn’t Financially Compensated: ‘I Deff Waznt Aware Yu Never Got Paid’
Fivio Foreign is issuing an apology to a videographer who claims he never got paid after working for the rapper.
A videographer by the name of Peezus Niice claimed Fivio Foreign did not compensate him for his work during the Rocking The Daisies festival in South Africa. On Wednesday (Apr. 12) Peezus Niice took to Twitter to air out his grievances.
He wrote,
“I’ve been quiet and chasing for mooonths, after submitting work for @FivioForeign when he came to SA for @RockingTheDaisy. They booked me to cover his weekend here. I did that, they loved the videos. Pls help me RT until they pay my rack, this I won’t let slide.”
The founder of Niice Productions added,
“6 months later, @FivioForeign and his team ghosted and haven’t paid a cent.”
Peezus Niice also shared screenshots of messages apparently between himself and members of Fivio Foreign’s team about compensation.

It didn’t take long before the New York rapper caught wind of the videographer’s tweets. Fivio issued an apology and said he was unaware of the matter.
“Damnn Yu never got paid ?… I deff waznt aware yu never got paid.. was alot of things not being handled rite bacc in these days but things more on point now Not even sure if I used these vids but imma make sure yu get paid NP.. I Apologize.”

Peezus thanked Fivio Foreign and asked,
“who can I contact to resend the invoice ?”
Fivio told Peezus to private message him. The two men seem to be working things out behind the scenes.

Fivio Foreign isn’t the only rapper that’s been dealing with claims of not paying people. GloRilla dealt with similar accusations. Last year, the Memphis native responded to allegations that she didn’t pay her choreographer and scammed others out of their money.
In a statement, GloRilla reportedly denied having anything to do with the unfortunate situation and claimed a scammer had been posing as a member of her team to take advantage of people. She said,
“I was made aware that an individual has been impersonating members of my team and deceiving people for money as part of a scam. I’m looking into the issue, but I’d like to encourage all my fans and supporters to be very careful with how they communicate with online strangers.”

She added,
“It’s important to do research and take the appropriate steps to prevent yourselves from being victimized by cybercriminals posing as celebrity teams.”
