Orlando Brown Gets Emotional While Addressing Jonathan Majors’ Ongoing Legal Troubles: ‘It’s Something He Didn’t See That Took His Blessing Away’
Orlando Brown is showing sympathy towards Jonathan Majors and the recent allegations against him.
During an interview that took place last month and recently resurfaced online, Orlando Brown shed tears as he discussed Jonathan Majors’ current legal troubles and accusations. In reflecting on his own life and some of the similarities between him and Majors, Orlando Brown said,
“People get blessed for what they do. But then they also get blessed for what they don’t see. And for what I do see, I don’t think that I’m getting blessed for what I see. I think I’m getting blessed for what I did not see and what I can’t see.”
He soon became emotional and continued,
It’s something I didn’t see thats why I’m here, It’s something I didn’t see that’s why my son got to chill with me, It’s something I didn’t see that’s why I’m able to buy our food. It’s something I didn’t see that’s why God put money in my pocket.”
Orlando Brown then spoke on Jonathan Majors and said,
“It’s something he didn’t see that took his blessing away. It’s something he didn’t see, It’s something he let happen. It’s something that he disrespected or something he didn’t look at. It’s something he didn’t fine tune in order to keep that like how I did back then. I’m sad for the kid.”
As previously reported, Jonathan Majors is facing three counts of third-degree assault, three counts of third-degree attempted assault, two counts of second-degree harassment and second-degree aggravated harassment following accusations that he physically abused his now ex-girlfriend.
Police claim he struck “[the victim] about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear.”
He also allegedly grabbed her hand and neck, which resulted in bruising and more pain.
Majors reportedly called 911 on his own during the incident “over concerns about his girlfriend,” with whom he shared a penthouse flat in the Chelsea district. According to initial reports, the woman informed police that the Lovecraft Country star physically assaulted her when they were in a taxi together after leaving a pub. Police discovered marks on the woman, leading to Majors’ arrest.
Since the incident, Jonathan Majors was dropped by his talent manager, Entertainment 360.
In addition, The Lede Company, a California-based PR firm, also parted ways with Majors.
