Diddy Reportedly Asks Judge To Dismiss Former Nanny’s Wrongful Termination Lawsuit, Claims Woman Failed To ‘Perform Her Job Responsibilities’

Diddy isn’t going down without a fight.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Diddy has requested that his former nanny’s wrongful termination lawsuit be tossed out due to the woman’s failure to fulfill the role properly.

If you haven’t heard, a woman by the name of Raven Wales-Walden (who’s claiming to be the niece of Diddy’s late ex-lover, Kim Porter) is currently suing the ‘Bad Boy’ icon for unethically firing her after he learned that she was pregnant and would need to go on maternity leave.

Reportedly, Diddy initially hired Raven Wales-Walden to become a live-in babysitter for his two teenage twins, Jessie and D’Lila, following the sudden death of their mother, Kim Porter, who died from pneumonia complications in 2018.

The let-go was said to have happened in 2020 when Raven Wales-Walden (whose identity remained undisclosed to the public at first) was informed by a “third party” that Diddy had (supposedly) cut business ties with her because he felt that her being unmarried would set a “bad example for his daughters.”

In response to the lawsuit, Diddy accused Wales-Walden of extortion, lying about her relation to Kim Porter, and argued that the ex-employee knew the position was originally meant to be on a temporary basis.

A rep for the 53-year-old revealed,

“Her babysitting services were always intended to be temporary, especially since the girls were getting older and spending most of the day at school.”

Additionally, Diddy’s latest development in the lawsuit is (seemingly) a motion for the case to be dismissed. Paperwork regarding the matter read that,

“[Raven Wales-Walden failed] to satisfactorily perform her job responsibilities, and otherwise conduct herself in accordance with the standards and policies of Combs Defendants.”

The “Gotta Move On” rhymer’s documentation then added,

“[Diddy has taken] reasonable steps to prevent and correct workplace discrimination (if any) and to implement internal grievance processes designed to respond to, correct, remedy, or otherwise avoid the alleged harm, if any, and [Wales-Walden] unreasonably failed to utilize the preventive and corrective measures that the Combs Defendants provided.”

Diddy also alleged that there were some instances that Wales-Walden was compensated for duties that she did not complete.

More details are to come.
