Ms Jacky Oh’s Family Is Speaking Out Following The News Of Her Passing: ‘Please Give Us Privacy During This Time’

The family of Ms Jacky Oh is speaking out following her sudden death.

As you may already know, Ms Jacky Oh (born Jacklyn Smith), the longtime partner of “Wild ‘N Out” star D.C. Young Fly, died Wednesday (May 31) at the age of 32.

The mother of three reportedly passed away in Miami after undergoing a “mommy makeover” procedure. In a since-deleted post, the former “Wild ‘N Out” girl had posted a photo of her alongside popular surgeon Dr. Zachary Okhah.

She captioned the post,

“Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr. Zach!! Stay tuned to my YouTube for the full reveal!” 

It turns out, Dr. Zachary Okhah has sued multiple patients for claiming that he botched their procedures. In 2021, he sued Leila Penn for more than $30,000 after she wrote a review that alleged he had “mutilated” her. According to court documents, Okhah claimed that Penn’s statements were “false” and defamatory. Ultimately, the board-certified surgeon dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice, meaning it can’t be brought up again.

In August of that same year, the well known surgeon filed a lawsuit for $30,000 against Kyla Neirenburg for claiming in a Google review that “happy patients” of his “don’t exist.” That case was also dismissed.

Jacky’s s family has since released a statement confirming her death and has asked for privacy during this difficult time.

Their message read:

“It is with sadden hearts we share with you that Jakclyn aka MsJackyOh has passed away on Wednesday, May 31st 2023. Our family is still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss; we ask that you please give us privacy during this time.”

A BET Media Group spokesperson also released a statement on Instagram following the news of her tragic passing.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”

The statement continued,

“The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

Reportedly D.C. Young Fly was in Atlanta shooting new episodes of Wild N Out when he got the news.

The “House Party” star and Jacky met on the set of “Wild ‘N Out” back in 2015. The couple share three children together: daughters Nova and Nala, and son Prince, who was born just last year.
