Jamie Foxx’s Rep Shuts Down Conspiracy Theory That COVID Vaccine Caused His Hospitalization
Jamie Foxx’s inner circle has, once again, released a statement to shut down rumors surrounding the actor.
As you more than likely know, in April, Jamie Foxx was hospitalized in Atlanta for an undisclosed “medical complication.” The “Day Shift” actor was soon moved to the top physical medicine and rehabilitation center located in Chicago, where he reportedly remains at this time. Other than initially breaking the news that the 55-year-old entertainer is receiving medical treatment, his team has been mostly quiet about the situation. However, Jamie Foxx’s rep has broken that vow of silence to shut down a crazy rumor.

Last week during a podcast interview, infamous gossip columnist A.J. Benza (falsely) claimed that Jamie’s medical troubles started because of the COVID vaccine. He reportedly said,
“Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it. The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind.”
However, a publicist for the Academy Award winner told NBC News Wednesday (Jun. 7) that Benza’s allegations were “completely inaccurate.”

This is the second time that someone close to Jamie has had to speak out against rumors surrounding the entertainer. A few weeks ago his daughter, Corinne Foxx, shared a post online about her dad’s health after TV personality Touré said he was on life support. In part, she wrote,
“Sad to see how the media runs wild,”
She added,
“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday.”

theJasmineBrand continues to keep Jamie Foxx and his loved ones in our prayers during this time.
