Rapper Trina’s Rep Reportedly Asks Fans To “Move On” From Pregnancy Rumors Following BET Performance: ‘Her Weight Fluctuates’

Rap star Trina is seemingly putting a quick end to recent pregnancy speculations.

According to reports, a rep for the Miami based musician has confirmed she is not with child after the internet posed the question following her recent BET performance.

Reportedly, the rep stated:

“She is not pregnant despite fans’ speculation following her performance at the BET Awards. Just like any other woman, her weight fluctuates.”

Adding:

“She is asking for fans to just move on from this.”

Rumors that Trina, real name Katrina Laverne Taylor, 44, was possibly expecting gained traction as fans discussed the matter online this past Sunday (June 25th). Many pointed out that during her performance with fellow Florida native Trick Daddy, Trina looked to be a little “thicker” than usual. While some simply praised the musician for her full figure, others were quick to question if the extra weight was due to an unborn child the public had no knowledge about.

However, it seems fans were simply being overzealous – yet again. The report notes that  back in 2021 the “Here We Go Again” artist also shot down pregnancy reports after putting on few extra pounds. Trina reportedly reacted to the stories back then, opening up about her struggle to conceive and her constantly changing weight. As we reported back in January, Trina shared how having three miscarriages made her question if she’ll ever become a mother.

While it doesn’t seem that the rapper has commented herself about the recent rumors, she did upload a picture taken that evening looking snatched, writing the caption:
