Update: Marcus Jordan Claims Girlfriend Larsa Pippen Has Received The ‘Stamp Of Approval’ From His Dad Michael Jordan

Update: (Jul. 5, 2023): Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen are seemingly adamant that basketball legend Michael Jordan is okay with them dating.

During a recently published interview, the controversial couple opened up about their love life and how their families initially reacted to them dating. Marcus said,

“We spent Thanksgiving together last year, and my family loves her. They think she’s great. And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with whoever I’m dating.”

He continued,

“Everybody had an opinion at first. I think there was some shock and interest early on, but I think that was the whole point of us trying to spend some family time together during the holidays.”

When asked if Larsa has received the “stamp of approval” from his dad, Marcus replied,

“Yeah, oh yeah.”

It’s important to note that even though their interview was recently published, the actual conversation with Entertainment Tonight’s Brice Sander took place before Michael Jordan publically expressed how he feels about the pair dating.

As previously reported, On Sunday (Jul. 2), paparazzi asked Michael if he approves of his son’s relationship. He took a moment to laugh then truthfully replied “No.”

Original story: (Jul. 3, 2023): NBA legend Michael Jordan recently shared his feelings on his son’s high-profile relationship with Larsa Pippen.

On Sunday (July 2) Michael Jordan was leaving a restaurant in Paris when he was asked by paparazzi about his thoughts on Marcus Jordan’s relationship with reality TV personality Larsa Pippen. The 60-year-old basketball star spoke out for the first time since the pair went public with their relationship last year.

While entering his vehicle, a reporter asked Michael Jordan,

“Hey Mr. Jordan, what do you think about Marcus and Larsa Pippen together?”

After MJ let out a big chuckle, the reporter followed with,

“You approve of it?”

The NBA star firmly responded,

“No!”

The reporter then doubled down, asking Michael again if he approves of the romantic relationship, to which he shook his head no.

If you recall, Larsa Pippen’s ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, 57, is a former teammate of Michael. The basketball legends played for the Chicago Bulls and won several championships together in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Larsa and Scottie Pippen were married from 1997-2021 and they welcomed four children together; Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin, and Sophia.

As previously reported, Marcus Jordan, 32, and Larsa, 48, initially sparked dating rumors in November of last year when the two were spotted at a Los Angeles Charges vs. Kansas City Chiefs football game. Following the outing, they denied being in a relationship and claimed they were just friends. However, at the top of this year, they confirmed they’re dating by going IG official. Last month the loved birds launched a couple’s podcast together.
