Jamie Foxx’s First Sighting Since Health Scare Sparks Uproar Online As Fans Debate If It Was Really Him Or Not: ‘That Was A Clone’
Some people aren’t buying that Jamie Foxx was recently seen “partying it up” on a boat!
Conspiracy theories have swarmed the internet following a viral video of actor Jamie Foxx cruising on a yacht over the weekend.
As previously reported, since falling ill in April of this year, conflicting reports about Jamie Foxx’s current state of health have persisted.
Speculation(s) regarding the 55-year-old’s well-being ignited after his daughter, Corinne, took to Instagram to share that her father had suffered an unknown medical complication. While nothing has been confirmed, many then started to believe that Foxx’s physical downfall stemmed from a neurological issue.
In May, rumors spread that the Hollywood legend’s loved ones were “preparing for the worst,” but Corinne quickly denied those claims by offering that Foxx was already on the road to recovery.
From there, the hearsay only strengthed, with a story about Foxx’s sickness being a result of a COVID-19 vaccine gone wrong hitting the media, which was immediately shut down by his rep. Additionally, another allegation revealed that the ‘In Living Color’ phenomenon had (supposedly) been admitted to a rehabilitation facility in Chicago.
When speaking of Foxx’s road to healing, an insider previously shared,
“He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself.”
While Foxx’s first (public) outing since his hospitalization brought a sigh of relief to some, most had their questions.
Subsequent to the sighting, Foxx tweeted that he was celebrating his whiskey brand. He said,
“Boat life. Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn. Stay blessed!”
In the short clip, the Texas native is captured by a paparazzi crew “waving and smiling” on the water, but not so fast… fans aren’t exactly sold on the fact that it was actually Foxx who was spotted.
According to a few Twitter users, they’re leaning more toward the idea of it being a “clone.”
An individual expressed,
“That did not look like Jamie Foxx on that boat but let me mind my business chile.”
A fellow person on the platform chimed in,
“The Jamie Foxx yacht video was staged.”
As of now, there haven’t been any further words from Foxx, or his daughter, Corinne.
