Update: Tiger Woods’ Ex-Girlfriend Drops $30 Million Lawsuit Against Athlete’s Trust After Claiming He Wrongfully Kicked Her Out Of His Home

Update #2: (Jul. 19, 2023): Tiger Woods is no longer wrapped up in a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman.

According to reports, Herman recently dropped the $30 million lawsuit she filed against Tiger’s trust. As you may recall, she sued the professional golfer for millions after he allegedly kicked her out of his home following their breakup. She claimed they had an “oral tenancy agreement” in place, which they agreed would last 5 years after Tiger dumped her in 2022. In exchange for the free rent, she claimed was meant to provide “valuable services” for Tiger.

The hefty amount Herman was seeking is what she deemed as the “reasonable rental value” of her ex’s home for the remaining years of their alleged agreement. She also said Tiger removed her from the property by claiming he had a vacation planned for her. Once at the airport, Herman was allegedly informed that she was “locked out” of the house and could not return.

However, Tiger denied her allegations and labeled Herman as simply a “jilted ex-girlfriend.”

Update #1: (May 18, 2023): famed golfer Tiger Woods just scored a major win in the lawsuit brought against him by his ex-girlfriend.

According to reports, on Wednesday (May 17) a Florida judge ruled that Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, must abide by a nondisclosure agreement she purportedly signed. In addition, she must resolve her lawsuits seeking millions from Tiger Woods through private arbitration behind closed doors.

You may recall that Herman recently filed a lawsuit against the World Golf Hall of Fame inductee (and the trust that owns his estate in Florida), claiming that he forced her to sign an NDA, wrongfully evicted her from his home, and sexually assaulted her. Herman argued that the NDA she signed should be invalidated due to a law called the federal Speak Out Act, which bands the enforceability of a contract agreed to prior to sexual assault or harassment.

Reportedly, in an 11-page opinion rejecting Herman’s request to have the NDA tossed out, the judge called the allegations against Woods “vague and threadbare.”

They wrote,

“Herman has had the opportunity [to] provide factual specificity for any claim relating to sexual assault or sexual harassment, however, she has not done so.”

Herman is seeking $30 million from her ex-boyfriend who, according to Forbes Magazine, has a net worth of $1.1 billion.

Original story: (Mar. 8, 2023): Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend is taking the golf star to court!

According to reports, Tiger Woods’ estranged girlfriend, Erica Herman, has filed legal documents claiming that the golfer — who she reportedly dated for almost six years — made her sign a non-disclosure agreement at the beginning of their romance. However, according to Erica Herman, she was forced to sign the contract back in 2017 and now she wants it tossed out.

Erica Herman detailed that a private trust fund that Tiger Woods oversees is trying to keep her quiet about their relationship by consistently reminding her about the non-disclosure agreement. She also argued that the contract should be invalidated due to a law called the federal Speak Out Act, which bands the enforceability of a contract agreed to prior to sexual assault or harassment.

Reportedly, the plaintiff and the defendant are no longer in a relationship but there has been no separation announcement. Herman wants the judge to rule the NDA invalid.

Woods, born Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods, may be having post-relationship drama but he still has his money to keep him warm at night! As previously reported, last year the 47-year-old became an official billionaire. According to Forbes, Woods is one of the top-earning athletes globally, raking in over $1.7 billion in salary over the course of his two-decade-plus career.
