Bow Wow Sued For 15k After Allegedly Running Off w/ 10-Year-Old’s Money He Agreed To Work With, Rapper Claims Child Was ‘Catfished’

It looks like Bow Wow is in the middle of some legal trouble.

According to reports, Bow Wow is being sued for allegedly stealing from a 10-year-old. The 36-year-old entertainer is accused of agreeing to be featured on the young artist’s song, but skipping out on his verse after accepting the payment.

Court documents obtained by Spade TV claim he was sent $3k through Cash App for his verse but he never followed through.

Now the girl’s father is suing the rapper/actor for $15k.

The suit reads,

“Based on the foregoing and as a direct consequence of Defendant’s actions and failures, Plaintiff’s total damages, including costs and attorney’s fees, amount to $15,000.00”

Bow Wow actually addressed the situation in the comment section of a report for the lawsuit and defended his case. The entertainer said it appears the girl and her father may have been catfished. He added that he does not conduct business via DMs or Cash App, but only does so through his management team.

He wrote,

“Smell like they got catfished. I hope d pimpin aint back to her old tricks. I dont even have cash app. Business goes thru managers etc… there are contracts placed. I never even heard of these people. Never was presented a contract agreement or anything. Nice try tho.”

He continued,

“Celebs pages get hacked duplicated every day. Pls be careful who you guys send money too over these apps. Bro i feel for you who ever the person is but next time go through management. Thats how you conduct business. Not dms and cash app. I dont do business that way.”

Despite Bow Wow’s comments, the public still had a lot to say about the ordeal.

One social media user wrote,

“Now why would he make a song with a 10 year old.”

One person actually defended the “Like Mike” actor and said,

“Could’ve been a [spam page]… Case dismissed.”

Another person added,

“He ought to be ashamed.”
