Drake Disses Pusha T & Pharrell On Travis Scott “Meltdown” Collab
It looks like Drake Is Taking Shots At both Pusha T and Pharrell and isn’t holding back!
In his new collaboration on Travis Scott’s “Meltdown,” Drake has seemingly reignited his beef with Pusha T and surprisingly threw Pharrell into the mix.
On the track, Drake raps:
“Man, f*ck all that spinning the narrative sh*t/I melt down the chains that I bought from your boss, give a f*ck about all of that heritage sh*t/Since V not around the members done hung up the Louis, they not even wearing that sh*t/Don’t come to the boy ’bout repairing some sh*t/Don’t come to the boy about sparing some sh*t.”

With the “chains that I bought from your boss” line, it appears the Canadian rapper is referring the custom chains that Pharrell auctioned off last year which Drake later purchased and was seen wearing in his “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” video. The jewelry, which totaled a whopping $3.3 million, included a three-tone N.E.R.D pendant chain, a white gold brain pendant chain and a skateboard pendant chain.
Meanwhile, the “V” that Drizzy mentions is a nod to his late friend, Virgil Abloh, who was previously the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection. Earlier this year, Pharrell took the vacant position and was named the new Men’s Creative Director of Louis Vuitton.

Drake’s line: “You lucky that ‘Vogue’ was suing/ ‘Cause I would’ve been with the Wassas in Paris and sh*t” appears to be aimed at both Pusha T and Pharrell. Both men were present in Paris last month for the Pharrell’s debut Louis Vuitton fashion show.
As previously reported, Drake and 21 Savage were sued by Vogue last year for gracing the cover of a fake Vouge magazine issue during the promotional roll-out for their project “Her Loss.” The rappers and the company later reached a settlement out of court.

Pusha T and Drake’s beef dates back to 2018. The Clipse rhymer kicked things off by taking aim at Drizzy’s alleged use of a ghostwriter on his DAYTONA track “Infrared,” which prompted the Toronto native to fire back with his “Duppy Freestyle.” Drake later made mention of Pusha’s wife which sparked the Virginia native to fire back and dig into Drake’s personal life on “The Story of Adidon” which exposed Drizzy for having a secret child.
After Drake’s latest subliminal shot in 2022, Pusha T said he’s done going back and forth with the “Hotline Bling” rapper.
He told XXL last year,
“Every time I hear a subliminal in one of his songs, it just lets me know how deep it hurt him. Because it’s been four years now. And we still talking about it. He is. I don’t. I’m cool. But every time it’s a subliminal, I’m like, yes. It burns. It still burns. It lets me know. I love it.”
