Tia Mowry Says She’s ‘Nervous & Terrified’ As She Enters The Dating Scene Following Split From Ex-Husband Cory Hardrict: ‘I Feel So Inexperienced!’

Dating can be nerve-racking for anyone, even celebs.

Actress Tia Mowry spoke to this in a recent TikTok video where she discussed her reservations about entering the dating market for the first time in her life.

In the short video, Tia Mowry, 45, jokingly practiced a mock dating scenario in the mirror, asking typical questions that tend to be part of many first dates. Donning a black sequin ensemble and applying lip gloss, the entertainer posed questions to herself such as “What do you do for work,” “Do you like it,” and “How many siblings do you have?”

Adding a title over the video, Mowry wrote:

So when I tell you I’m nervous and terrified of doing this whole dating thing, I mean it ?Even though I’m in my 40’s, I feel so inexperienced! And while it would be easy to just throw in the towel and avoid the potential for awkwardness and hurt, I know God’s got me! As a caption for the post, she added:

And while it would be easy to just throw in the towel and avoid the potential for awkwardness and hurt, I know God’s got me! So if you’re feeling apprehensive about new experiences, just know you got this, and we’re in this together!”

Mowry’s revelation about dating comes nearly a year after the actress announced she was splitting from her husband following 14 years of marriage. If you recall, the “Family Reunion” star posted a picture of the pair to her Instagram account, revealing that she and fellow actor Cory Hardrict, 43, had decided to go their separate ways.

As we covered back in June, it was reported that their divorce settlement resulted in Mowry being awarded the $4.3 million home they shared together with their two children – son Cree, 11, and daughter Cairo, 5. Additionally, the former couple reportedly agreed on joint legal and physical custody of the children and opted for neither of them to receive child or spousal support.

Since the divorce is finalized and settlements have concluded it seems Mowry is ready to once again search for love, despite any fears she may have. We wish her all the best in her dating endeavors!
