Cardi B Gives First-Time Mom Chrisean Rock Advice On Dealing w/ Postpartum Depression: ‘Just Do Something That Calms You Down’

Rapper Cardi B is filling Chrisean Rock in on how important it is to take care of her mental health as a mother.

While interacting with fans, the mother-of-two was asked by paparazzi if she had any mothering advice for Chrisean Rock, real name Chrisean Malone, who recently gave birth to her first child. Cardi B took the opportunity to warn the 23-year-old about the early signs of postpartum depression.

Cardi B, 30, shared:

“Whenever you start feeling emotional, you might not think it is, but it’s postpartum.”

The rapper then emphasized the importance of self-care as a coping strategy during the challenging times. She also suggested that Chrisean Rock get fresh air and perhaps some coffee to restore feelings of calmness. She ended her advice segment with:

“Just do something that calms you down and [is] peaceful.”

Hopefully, Cardi’s advice is helpful to Chrisean. As previously reported, the reality TV star welcomed her baby boy earlier this month. Despite the child being fairly new, Chrisean has made headlines multiple times since his birth due to her ongoing drama with the child’s father, rapper Blueface, 26. Most recently, Blueface, real name Johnathan Porter, threatened to file for full custody.

The threat came amid a Twitter rant from the entertainer. The “Thotiana” artist took to the social media platform and shared an alleged screenshot from Rock where she seemingly admitted to smoking marijuana while pregnant. He claimed that the screenshot serves as evidence his ex is an unfit mother and he’s being “nice” by not having the child drug tested.

Blueface added,

“tighten up an focus on yo son”

Blueface and Chrisean are no strangers to drama. Even before the birth of their child they often had crazy disputes with each other. In August, Chrisean claimed that Blueface threatened to kill her and their (at the time) unborn baby. The alleged threat came at the end of a wild night in Vegas.

Chrisean recounted the incident and said:

“He get in my face for real and this is the evilest sh*t I’ve ever seen him do, and the crazy thing is nobody deserves that sh*t….He’s like, ‘Shoolyard Crip b*tch, look a killer in his eyes. You don’t think I’ll kill you? And kick you in the stomach and you be bleeding for months?’ Then he took my phone to make sure I wasn’t recording.”
